Christ's Work in Our Region
This past school year, God has been at work throughout our region, as students across the Midwest have been met with the power of the gospel.
Stepping out in faith, we’ve trusted God to work on the 250+ campuses within our region, and have been consistently and convincingly ¬astounded by what He’s accomplished.
Consider the story of Katelynn Cole, a student at Ohio University (OU).
This year, Katelynn witnessed incredible growth and multiplication in the Bible study she leads on the OU campus. During the fall quarter, Katelynn and her fellow Bible study leaders saw nine women at Bible study each week. By winter quarter, weekly attendance had almost doubled. And as the school year came to a close, 20 women were coming together each week to study God’s word and the impact of the gospel on their lives.
For Katelynn, this phenomenal growth is a direct answer to specific prayer. Throughout the summer, she and her fellow Bible study leaders had prayed that God would use them to reach their area, giving them opportunities to share and clarify the gospel, and asking that the Holy Spirit would fill them with the power to serve Him boldly, humbly, and patiently.
They asked for big dreams and increased vision, and God came through. For Katelynn and the women she shares life with, the incomparable power of God to draw people to himself cannot be denied.
When we ask, God does incredible things.
