Christ's Work Around the World

God’s plan for the Great Lakes region extends far beyond these four Midwestern states. We are charged with reaching the world and have responded to that calling.

Teams from Great Lakes campuses have partnered with international locations, building ministries in places like Berlin, Germany and Istanbul, Turkey with the ultimate goal of establishing self-sustaining movements.

Just this last year, the Great Lakes completed a 12 year partnership with universities in Nantes, France as God raised up strong French leaders.
But our work isn’t finished.

God is continuing to call us to reach the world, and we are responding by stepping out in faith to establish new partnerships.

In Ljubljana, Slovenia, for example, Ohio University student Joe Teichman traveled with 18 other OU staff and students to launch a new partnership in this European capitol. While Joe spent previous summers working for financial gain, this past summer he decided to invest in the kingdom of God, allowing himself to be used as part of an international ministry team.

On campus and around the world, God is using the Great Lakes Region to share his life-changing gospel with all who need to hear it.
